Partial payment extension for Magento 2 enables you to charge additional fee for layaway orders. The fee can be defined by "per product" or "per order".

Layaway Fee Per Product

If you set $12 as layaway fee & customer adds 2 layaway products to cart, the total layaway fee will be $24.

Layaway Fee Per Order (wholecart)

Apply Layaway Separately or On Entire Order

You can choose to apply layaway pricing on products separately or on entire order. This will calculate layaway price per each product price or on total price of the order during checkout.

Set an installment period in months, weeks, days, years or even set a fixed date.

Customers can pay all the remaining installments at once. For example, if admin has set 3 installments – customers has the option to pay all the remaining amount in 1, 2 or 3 installments.

Reschedule Specific Installment

Merchants can also reschedule the installment due date within a layaway plan for a customer.

With this Magento 2 Split Payment extension you can configure general settings that allows selection of payment methods for the installment plans.

Enable Layaway pricing for simple, configurable, bundled and grouped products. This encourages customers to buy in larger quantities from your store, especially products that are similar or complement each other.

You can also enable layaway for wish list products. The customer can pick any product from their wish list, select edit and choose layaway payment method from the products page.

You can allow guest checkout or set registration as a mandatory condition for customers who wish to avail layaway buying option. This helps you increase registrations and gather valuable data on customers. Customers who are already registered can login to buy product via layaway method.

Merchants can easily place orders on customers behalf from backoffice. You can create order with a personalized layaway plan.

Customers can view all the layaway orders in a separate tab in 'My Account' section. They can view information such as order number, date, status, order total amount and remaining amount.

In My Accounts section, customers can view their partial payment details in ‘My Orders' category. Customers can view:

• Complete order details
• The remaining amount of the payment plan
• The installment history
• The number of installments paid
• The maximum number of partial payments
• Remaining number of payments
• Allowed duration to pay the remaining amount
• The deadline to pay all the installments

With Magento 2 Layaway pricing extension, the payment plan will appear on shopping cart page to make sure the buyer reads and understands the terms before completing checkout.
