FME’s “Color Swatches” extension provides an intuitive and very elegant module for your configurable products. We have made this feature so that your customers can see a demonstration of any product with different options like colors, sizes etc.
Clicking on color options will update the main image accordingly using powerful Ajax.
Features
- Extension can be enabled and disabled
- Admin can enter the Attribute code that is being used for color options
- The size of Color swatches can be set by admin
- The Color Swatches will be displayed on product listing and detailed page
- If any color swatch on listing page is anchored then that specific product’s images will be shown and also that color will come as selected from the dropdown
- On anchoring the Color Swatches, Images and the dropdown will be changed accordingly
- Also On changing the drop down, images will be changed

FRONT END DISPLAY
Magento Color Swatches:
The Front End of the Magento Color Swatches Extension displays the color options that have been installed in for you e.g. Black, Brown, White etc. This extension enables your customers to view the products in different colors. A click on the color option will take your customers to the Product detail page where the product can be viewed in different sizes, angles and colors etc.
CONFIGURATIONS
Settings:
- Enable the Color Navigator by editing the text field e.g. ‘Yes’
- Enter the Color Attribute code by editing the text field e.g. ‘color’
- Enter the Message for the loader by editing the text field e.g. ‘please wait’
- Enter the Height by editing the text field
- Enter the Width by editing the text field
- Enter No. of thumbnails to revolve by editing the text field e.g. ‘three’
- Enter No. of color swatches to revolve by editing the text field e.g. ‘three’
