User Guide of Magento 2 Smart Compare Extension
General Configurations
At the backend, go to FME EXTENSIONS > Configurations. Here you can find the extension configurations.
Enable Module
The Advanced Comparison module can be enabled on your webstore by selecting YES.
You can set a maximum limit for the number of products that can be included in the comparison list. When customers click the "Compare" button, a tray will appear at the bottom of the page displaying all the compared products.
you can enable or disable the Smart Compare functionality on the product detail page.
Compare Block Configuration
Expand the Compare Block Configurations section to see the following options.
In the backend, you can set the background color of the compare tray that appears at the bottom of the page. You can also customize the text for the 'Compare' and 'Clear' buttons. The 'Compare' button will display the number of products added to the list.
Popup Message Configuration
Frontend
Category Page
The user selects products from the category page and adds them to the "compare tray." The selected products are then added to the comparison page, allowing the user to view a comparison of the products on the category page.
Product Page
A user selects products from the product page, adds them to the "compare tray," and then adds those products to the "compare products" page to view the comparison.
Popup
On the frontend, when the customer exceeds the maximum limit the popup message will appear.
