User Guide of Magento 2 Product Slider Extension

General Configurations

At the backend, go to FME EXTENSIONS > Configurations. Here you can find the extension configurations.

Enable Module: Choose ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to Enable or Disable the module

Desing

Responsive: Select ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to make the slider responsive or not
Margin: Enter the margin size
Slider Speed: Specify the speed of slider
Pagination Speed: Specify the speed of pagination
Rewind Speed: Specify the rewind speed
Auto Play: Select ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to Enable/Disable the autoplay
Stop on Hover: Select ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to stop the slider on hover or not

Navigations

Navigation: Select ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to Enable/Disable the navigation
Rewind Navigation: Select ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to Enable/Disable the rewind navigation
Dots: Select ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to Enable/Disable the dots

How to Add Product Sliders?

At the back end, go to FME EXTENSIONS > Manage Sliders. Here you will find the grid will all the sliders that you have created before. Click on the Edit button or click on the Add New Slider button to continue.

Slider Details

Slider Name: Enter a name for the slider
Show Out of Stock Products: Option to Show/Hide the Out of Stock products
Store View: You can confine the display of product slider to selected store views
Customer Group: You can confine the display of product slider to selected customer groups
Start Date: Select a start date to configure the display of slider for a specific time
End Date: Select an end date to configure the display of slider for a specific time
Type: If you choose ‘Specific Product Slider’, a new field set appears to select products from Grid:
- New Products
- Best Seller Products
- Featured Products
- Most Viewed
- On Sale
- Last Ordered Items
- Specific Products
Short Code: Short code generates on the slider (Note: You can’t write short-code by yourself)

Display Settings

Location: Specify where this slider will display on frontend
- Catalog Pages
- All Category Page
- All Product Page
- Specific Category Page

(If the user selects this option, a button appears to select the categories)

Specific Product Page (If the user selects this option, a button appears to select the products)
Sales Pages
Checkout Page
Cart Page
CMS Pages
Status: Option to Enable/Disable the slider
Position: Specify the position of the slider. Position changes on the basis of the slider location.
- Content Top
- Content Bottom
- Sidebar Top
- Sidebar Bottom

Design

View Type: Option to choose the view type of the slider:
- Slider
- Grid
Title: Enter a title for the slider
Description: Enter a description for the slider
Display Options: Choose from the following:
- Name
- Price
- Add to Cart
- Rating
- Add to Wishlist
Sorting: Options to sort the slider items by:
- Name Or Price
- Ascending Or Descending Or Random
Products Limit: Enter the total amount of products shown in a slider
Responsive: Option to make slider responsive or not
Maximum Items: Enter the maximum number of items to show in the slider without scrolling

(Note: If a user set the Product Limit value to 4 & Maximum Items value to 10 then only four items will display in the slider on the frontend while other six items will display on scrolling)
