User Guide of Magento 2 Payment Restrictions Extension
How to Manage Payment Restriction Rules?
At the back end, go to FME EXTENSIONS > Manage Restrictions Rules. Here you will find the list of all the restrictions rules. You can Edit any rule or Click on the Add New Rule button to continue.
Here you will find the following configurations:
Restrict Payment Payment Details
- Name: Give a name too the payment restriction rule for internal purposes
- Status: Enable or disable the rule
- Payment Methods: Select payment methods which you want to restrict
- Store Views: Specify the stores where the rule will be applied. Select "All" to apply the rule to all stores.
- Priority: Set priority of the rule (Note: '0' for low Priority '1' for high Priority)
- Apply Operation As: Set the operation to AND if all selected options in the sections below must fulfill the requirements. Set it to OR if any of the selected options below fulfill the requirements
Conditions
Create conditions to restrict the selected payment methods for specific products or categories.
Select Customer Group/Customers
- Customer Groups: Select Customer Groups to which you want to apply the rules
- Select Customers: Select customers to which you want to apply the rules
Restrict by Billing Address
This section allows you to restrict the selected payment methods by billing address and cart total.
- Postal Code: Enter a post code separated by ',' (i.e. 12345,23456)
- Restrict Options: Select any of the restriction options:
- Restrict By Country
- Restrict By Region
- Country: Select the country for restriction
- Apply Grand Total Operation As: Select how you want to calculate the cart total
- Grand Total: Enter the base grand total
Coupon Code and Catalog Rules
Day and Time
This section allows you to restrict the selected payment methods during specific times of the day.
