User Guide of Magento 2 Mix & Match Extension

General Configurations

At the backend, go to FME EXTENSIONS > Configurations. Here you can find the extension configurations.

• Enable Module: options to Enable / Disable module

• Grid Color: Option to choose the color of the grid, on clicking the input field a color pallet will appear and you can choose any color by moving the cursor.

• Add to Cart Button Color: Option to choose the color of Add to Cart Button, on clicking the input field a color pallet will appear and you can choose any color by moving the cursor.

• Textbox Color: Option to choose the color of the textbox, on clicking the input field a color pallet will appear and you can choose any color by moving the cursor.

• Grid Position: Option to set the position of the grid on the frontend:

  • Left
  • Right

• Success Pop Up Color: Option to choose the color of Success pop-up, on clicking the input field a color pallet will appear and you can choose any color by moving the cursor.

• Button Label: Set a custom label of button in the text field. (Hint: This is an editable field)

How to Setup Properties of the Extension?

On the back end, go to CATALOG > PRODUCTS. Here you can find the listed bundle products. You can also add a new bundle product by clicking the arrow on the Add Product button and selecting ‘Bundle Product’.

A form will appear where you will find bundle products; bundle products are the ones thatare a collection of multiple products. They can be in the form of Grid or List. Now click on any of the product and it will take you to the settings/configurations page. There you will find a lot of product attributes which are already filled; you just have to make changes in two tabs:

• BUNDLE ITEMS TAB

GO TO MIX AND MATCH TAB: Set the listed properties

• Allow Mix and Match?: Option to Allow / Disallow Mix and Match feature

  • Yes

• Template Type: Choose the layout type of the template:

  • List
  • Grid

• Pricing Type: Among various pricing type options choose any suitable option for your gift box

  • Fixed Pricing: This option lets you set a fixed price of the gift box.

  • Per Item Price With Base Price: This Option lets you set a base price of the gift box, and then the price increases as per the products being added in the gift box i.e. you can set some base price of the box and when user will add products in the gift box, the total price of the gift box will result as, base price plus(+) price of each product in the box.

  • Per Item Price Without Base Price: This option lets you add products and their respective prices without any base price i.e. when you add products in the box, the total price of the box will be the exact total ofthe products’ overall amount, no base price will be the part of the gift box’s total price.

• Fixed Price Amount: Option to set the amount to charge as “fixed price giftbox”. Fill this field if you have selected ‘Fixed Pricing’ in the ‘Pricing Type’ dropdown above.

• Base Price Amount: Option to set the amount to charge as “base price of the box”. Fill this field if you have selected ‘Per Item Price With Base Price’ in the ‘Pricing Type’ dropdown above.

• Box Quantity: Set the number of products to add in the box

• Allow Message Box: Option to Allow / Disallow Message box

GO TO BUNDLE ITEMS TAB: Set the listed properties

• BUNDLE ITEMS: Here you will find a list of products that have been added while creating the bundle product. You can add more products in the list by clicking the Add Products to Option Button on the bottom left corner. Note : Input type should be “CheckBox” or “Multiselect” In order to show mix and match theme.

• Pre-Filled: If you mark any product as pre-filled, then this particular product will be added into the gift box by default (as the gift box will appear on the front end). But users can remove and can re-add them as per choice.

• Is Mandatory: If you mark any product as mandatory for a gift box, then this product will be the part of a gift box by default and the user cannot remove it from the gift box.

After setting the Mix and Match and Bundle Properties, click on the Save button and your configurations will be enabled on store frontend.
