User Guide of Magento 2 Guest Wishlist

At the backend, go to FME EXTENSIONS > Configurations. Here you can find the extension configurations.

General Settings

  • Enable on Frontend: Options to enable/disable the extension on store frontend
  • Keep Wishlist Items After Add to Cart: Select Yes/No to keep the Wishlist items after add to cart
  • Cookie lifetime: Set the time for the expiration of cookie, as Wishlist is being stored in the cookie. So longer will be the cookie time, longer will the wish-list stay

  • Display Wishlist: Options to display Wishlist in:
    • Guest Wishlist Page
    • Pop-up
  • Merge Wishlist: Options to merge Wishlist for people who are logged-in / not logged- in. Like, if a person has added something to Wishlist while s(he) is not logged in, after that s(he) logs in. Now this feature will retain the Wishlist for the logged-in state as well

Sidebar Settings

  • Show Items in Sidebar: Select Yes/No to Show/Hide Wishlist items in the sidebar
  • Number of Items in Sidebar: Set the limit of the Wishlist items to display in the sidebar

  • It is highly recommended to back up your server files and database before installing this module.
  • No responsibility will be taken for any adverse effects occurring during installation.
  • It is recommended you install on a test server initially to carry out your own testing.
