User Guide of Magento 2 Flash Sales Extension

General Configurations

At the backend, go to FME EXTENSIONS > Configurations. Here you can find the extension configurations.

General

Module Enable: Choose ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to Enable or Disable the Extension
Header Menu Anchor Text: Enter text for the header menu anchor
Footer Menu Anchor Text: Enter text for the footer menu anchor

Counter Settings

Select Counter: Choose from the following counters:
- Counter 1
- Counter 2
- Counter 3

If you select Counter 1, then following fields will appear at your screen:

Counter 1

Count Down Timer: Type of the count-down timer
Days Arc Color: Option to set the color for the days arc of the timer
Hours Arc Color: Option to set the color for the hours arc of the timer
Minutes Arc Color: Option to set the color for the minutes arc of the timer
Seconds Arc Color: Option to set the color for the seconds arc of the timer
Label Font Size: Option to set the label font size
Font Color: Option to set the color of the counter label

If you select Counter 2, then following fields will appear at your screen:

Counter 2

Count Down Timer: Display of the countdown timer
Upper Background Color: Option to set the counter upper background-color
Lower Background Color: Option to set the counter lower background-color
Font Color: Option to set the font color of the counter countdown
Label Font Color: Option to set the counter label color

If you select Counter 3, then following fields will appear at your screen:

Counter 3

Count Down Timer: Display of the countdown timer
Upper Background Color: Option to set the counter upper background-color
Lower Background Color: Option to set the counter lower background-color
Font Color: Option to set the font color of the counter countdown
Label Font Color: Option to set the color of the counter label
Label Font Size: Option to set the size of the label font

Flash Sale Top Bar

Enable Top Bar: Choose ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to Enable or Disable the flash sale top bar
Select Flash Sale: Choose a flash sale to display on the top bar
Background Color: Choose a background color for the top bar
Font Color: Choose the font color for the top bar

Flash Sale Page

Page Enable: Choose ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to Enable or Disable the flash sales page
Page Title: Enter a title for the flash sales page
URL Identifier: Enter the URL identifier for the flash sales page (Hint: Do not use space or character except "-" or "_")
URL Suffix: Enter the URL suffix e.g. .html
Meta Title: Enter a meta title for the flash sales page
Meta Description: Enter a meta description for the flash sales page
Meta Keywords: Enter meta keywords for the flash sales page
Enable Coming Soon Section: Choose ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to Enable or Disable the coming soon flash sales section
Coming Soon Time Limit (Days): Enter the number of days for the ‘Coming Soon’ sales (Note: Please enter at least 1)

Category Page

Enable Flash Sales on Category: Choose ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to Enable or Disable the featured flash sales section on the category.
Enable Countdown Timer: Choose ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to Enable or Disable the countdown timer on the frontend category pages.
Flash Sales Counter Width: Specify the width of the flash sales counter for the category pages (Note: Minimum recommended width is 100)
Enable Up-Coming Flash Sales Section: Choose ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to Enable or Disable the up-coming flash sales section on the category pages.
Up-Coming Flash Sales Section Title: Enter a title for the upcoming flash sales section
Up-Coming Flash Sales Default Banner: Upload a banner image for the upcoming flash sales section (Note: Allowed file types: jpg, jpeg, gif, png, bmp)
Current Flash Sales Section Title: Enter a title for the current flash sales section
Flash Sales Default Tag: Upload an image for the flash sales default tag (Note: Allowed file types: jpg, jpeg, gif, png, bmp)
Flash Sales Tag Text: Enter a text for the flash sales tag
Flash Sales Tag Font Size: Choose the font size for the flash sales tag
Flash Sales Tag Font Color: Select the font color for the flash sales tag
Flash Sales Tag Title Position - Top: Specify the position in percentage (from top) for the flash sales tag title
Flash Sales Tag Title Position - Left: Specify the position in percentage (from left) for the flash sales tag title

Product Page

Enable Countdown Timer: Choose ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to Enable or Disable the countdown timer on the frontend product list page.
Flash Sales Counter Width: Specify the width of the flash sales counter for product pages (Note: Minimum recommended width is 100)
Enable Banner: Choose ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to Enable or Disable the up-coming flash sales section on the product pages.

How to Add Flash Sales?

At the backend, go to FME EXTENSIONS > Manage Flash Sales. Here you will find all the flash sales in a grid. You can Edit any sale or click on the Add New Flash Sale button to proceed.

Here you will have to provide the following information:

Flash Sale Information

Title: Enter a title for the flash sale
Start At: Select a date from which the flash sale will start
Ends At: Select a date to which the flash sale will end
Priority: Specify the priority of the flash sale
Image: Upload an image for the flash sale
Store View: Select the store views on which you want to enable the flash sale
Status: Option to Enable or Disable the flash sale
Short-Code: Enter your short-code here. You can create a flash sales widget and add it to any page by copying the shortcode of the flash sales offer.

Discount

Discount Type: Choose the discount type:
- Apply As Percentage of Original
- Apply As Fixed Amount
Discount Value: Specify a discount value for the flash sale (Note: Flash sale discount (Priority - Lowest))
